Beta Beta Beta


Beta Beta Beta is a National Honorary for students in the Biological Sciences. Join the KAPPA LAMBDA chapter at Longwood and join a fraternity dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

Membership

Membership in Beta Beta Beta is open to Biology majors who have met the following requirements:

  • must be at least second semester sophomores
  • completed at least three Biology courses (with lab) at Longwood University with at least one of them at the 200 level or above;
  • have a Biology course GPA of 3.25 or greater with no grade of D or F in any Biology class. If a class is repeated, the original grade will be used;
  • minimum overall GPA of 2.7. Students who have met all of the preceding requirements will be invited to become members at the next initiation.

Initiations are normally held in the fall and spring semesters. If a student feels they are eligible for membership and have not been contacted, they should contact the Beta Beta Beta adviser Dr. Wade Znosko - znoskowa@longwood.edu.
