Accounting Association

The Longwood University Accounting Association provides its members with a means of interacting with other students and faculty in Longwood's accounting program as well as professionals who practice accounting for a living.  The goal is accomplished through various meetings, seminars, and executive-in-residences.  The Accounting Association also provides opportunities for students to participate in community volunteering and leadership activities and to improve their interviewing and communication skills.  Also, they will have the opportunity to build relationships with classmates outside the classroom environment.  In short, this organization's purpose is to bridge the gap between college and the business world.
