A.D. Carson, an alum of Clemson University, is currently Assistant Professor of Hip-Hop and the Global South at UVA. Professor Carson's keynote address focuses on the theme of our MLK Week: “Shaping the Noise: Continuing the Activist Movement.”  The keynote is on Thursday, January 25 at 7:00 in the Blackwell Ballroom; a reception follows at 8:30 in the Blackwell Foyer.
