This exhibition will feature the work of award-winning illustrator, fine artist, designer and educator, best known for his Latino-themed children's books such as Waiting for the Biblioburro, Green is a Chile Pepper, and Gracias/Thanks. John Parra's illustrations will be presented in collaboration with the Virginia Children's Book Festival. The exhibition will open with a reception on August 25, from 5-8 p.m. It will remain open until October 22, ending with a 6-8 p.m. closing reception on October 20.
