Orientation is your first official event as a Lancer! Get ready to meet other new transfer students and learn about campus offices and the services they provide. You'll also receive your class schedule!
You will register for Orientation online via instructions sent to your personal email account. The instructions will be sent within one week of the date that your Admissions deposit is received and processed.
Completing the questionnaire is very important. Based on your answers to the Academic Questionnaire, the Department Chair for your Major or the Registrar’s Office may be able to work with you prior to Orientation and help you register for your Fall 2017 classes. Our questionnaire allows you to express your interests and assures that you are on track to graduate as you begin your education at Longwood. You can review the questions here:
Please bring a copy of your unofficial transcript from the previous institution(s) you've attended. This will be helpful during advising and course registration.
There is no up-front fee to attend Orientation; the cost is covered in the incoming student transitional fee of $225 and is billed to the student account. Students are invited to bring guests, and must register them in advance of the Orientation program. There is no additional fee for guests.
The full schedule will be posted prior to your arrival to campus.
