Ann Bailey Yoelin
Associate Professor of Therapeutic Recreation and Program Coordinator of Therapeutic Recreation

Dr. Ann Bailey is an Assistant Professor in the Therapeutic Recreation Program and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Ann has a Bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University, a Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth, and an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University.

Her concentration areas include Therapeutic Recreation, Aging Studies, and Administration. Prior to joining the faculty at Longwood University, Ann worked as a recreation therapist in a continuing care retirement community and as an educator for the Alzheimer's Association.

In her spare time, Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and fixing up their old home. She also enjoys being with family, friends, practicing yoga, listening to music, and walking outdoors.
