The Longwood University Police Department will test its Mass Alert System on Thursday, Aug. 1, as part of its annual maintenance inspection.
The Longwood Police will also be checking the sirens to see if any adjustments to location, volume, etc., are needed. This testing will be done at all locations and will take most of the day.
