Longwood University’s 5th annual First Night Faculty Gala Recital will be presented Monday, Aug. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Molnar Recital Hall in Wygal Hall.
The recital, which is free, features performances by members of the Music Department as soloists and in small ensembles. A wide variety of styles of music will be performed.
The event will include three world premiere performances: two by faculty members Dr. Roland Karnatz and Dr. Gordon Ring, and one by Chelsea Callahan Johnson, a 1996 Longwood alumna who is a music therapist in West Palm Beach, Fla.
