You’ll promote social justice and equity. You’ll prepare for administrative, supervisory and leadership roles in public and private schools; school divisions; and educational organizations.

Earn Your Administration and Supervision PreK-12 Endorsement

Upon successful completion of program coursework, passing scores on the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA), and fulfillment of Virginia Department of Education's three-year teaching requirement, candidates will be prepared and endorsed to serve as educational leaders in today's schools and school divisions.

$431 per credit hour

Financial assistance is available in the form of graduate assistantships and travel grants.

Admission Requirements

  •  Official bachelor’s degree transcripts from an accredited college or university and all transcripts for subsequent coursework.
  • A minimum, overall undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) from a four-year regionally accredited college or university. Options are available if you do not meet this requirement
  • Essay, 500 words or less, addressing reasons for seeking graduate education
  • Two letters of recommendation, one from a supervisor
  • Valid Virginia Teaching License or equivalent from another state
  • Resume

International Student applicants should review the international admission requirements and standards for TOEFL scores.
